A Comparative Study of the Argentometric and the Mercurimetric Methods for the Determination of Chloride

Abstract

The object of this thesis to present a comparison of certain standard volumetric methods for the determination of chloride, including argentometric and mercurimetric methods, from the standpoint of accuracy, time required, difficulties encountered, cost of materials, and their consequent practicality in the college laboratory.
