Abstract
Here is the third volume of an inexpensive but lovely four-volume set, perhaps first done with other curators in 1958; at any rate there is a copyright of that date included. I include these two volumes of "contes" and "nouvelles" because they are part of the set. Jadoux-Renaud's woodcut illustrations are here more varied in style than for the fables' two volumes. Some are framed quadrangles; others are free-standing small designs. This volume has a stamp on its rear endpaper of a former owner, M. and Mme Patrick Pardoen in Bitche.
