We have a number of copies of this lovely book. I am surprised that we have not yet had -- or perhaps have not kept -- a copy of this beautiful, impressive 1987 printing. It was so good of Theo to think of me! As I wrote of the 1947 first edition, this book has simple artwork that can be of value for presentations on fables. The book includes several colored pages besides a number of black-and-whites. The tellings of the tales may be most helpful for the clear morals. The frontispiece of Aesop the old storyteller is charming!
