Abstract
Here is a large, colorful book of fables with a puffy front and back cover. 124 pages followed by a T of C. Almost all the fables are from Krylov. Other fabulists include Izmailov, Mazdorf, Dmitriev, and Alipanov. Each fable gets one or two large, splashy, exaggerated illustrations. Typical illustrations are those for "Museum" (14) and "Owl and Donkey" (2023). The cover highlights a dramatic "Trishkin's Kaftan," a Lion King, and BF.
