dc.description.abstractFIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|Landlord-tenant law as it pertains to the commercial lease is currently in a state of flux. This condition is primarily a consequence of the recent infusion of tenant-protective contract principles into the realm of the residential lease. In most jurisdictions, including Nebraska, these contract principles have been codified into uniform residential landlord-tenant acts, leaving the commercial lease with little statutory coverage. Hence, the commercial lease largely remains governed by varied interpretations of common law, yet it is not immune to the continuing impact of the contractual revolution in the residential area...en_US
