FIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|Landlord-tenant law as it pertains to the commercial lease is currently in a state of flux. This condition is primarily a consequence of the recent infusion of tenant-protective contract principles into the realm of the residential lease. In most jurisdictions, including Nebraska, these contract principles have been codified into uniform residential landlord-tenant acts, leaving the commercial lease with little statutory coverage.
