Abstract

FIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|The Nebraska Supreme Court faced many cases in the domestic law area during the survey term. Among the issues resolved were those involving the rights of various parties in domestic relations cases, modifiability of alimony in gross, and the effect of an antenuptial agreement. In addition, the court also discussed the effects of the mother's resources and her removal of the children from the jurisdiction of the court on the father's liability for child support. In the area of child custody, the court restated rules for allowing a change of custody -and semantically rejected the preference for custody in the mother in cases involving young children.
