Abstract
The use of a chemiluminescent reaction to sensitize photochemical reactions has been pioneered by previous workers We have sought to further this type of investigation by studying the cis-trans isomerization of stilbene using energy evolved from the thermal decomposition of disubstituted peroxydicarbonates in polystyrene.
