dc.description.abstractINTRODUCTION|Credit reports are conditionally privileged publications in every state except Idaho and Georgia. Hood v. Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. [Hood] reaffirms Georgia's position. Plaintiff David Pope Hood is an established and reputable building contractor in Atlanta, Georgia. On October 11, 1968, Dun & Bradstreet prepared a credit report concerning Hood which was distributed to eleven subscribers. The defendant's principal business is the investigation and reporting of any business or personal credit rating to subscribers. Hood's credit report, distributed for the sole use of the subscriber contained the following statements:...en_US
