INTRODUCTION|Credit reports are conditionally privileged publications in every state except Idaho and Georgia. Hood v. Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. [Hood] reaffirms Georgia's position. Plaintiff David Pope Hood is an established and reputable building contractor in Atlanta, Georgia. On October 11, 1968, Dun & Bradstreet prepared a credit report concerning Hood which was distributed to eleven subscribers. The defendant's principal business is the investigation and reporting of any business or personal credit rating to subscribers.
