Abstract
Here is one of some 38 inexpensive Turkish editions of Aesop. This book has 10 illustrations and acknowledges the illustrator. It numbers its 203 fables on 158 pages. There are no additional elements except a paragraph before the first fable, apparently about Aesop. The black-and-white full-page illustrations are engaging. Among the best are: "The Angler and the Little Fish" (59); "Stag and Horse" (79); and especially 2W (151).
