Abstract
This is a 16-page booklet of La Fontaine's texts with colored versions of Jean-Baptist Oudry's illustrations. MM is on the cover. In fact, I thought it was a Pellerin book until I opened the bouquinist's cellophane wrapping of the book. This short book is well-made. Its illustrations, well-colored, include WL; FC; MM; The Crow Wanting to Imitate the Eagle"; "The Worker and His Sons"; OF; BS; and TMCM. GGE; "The Monkey Judge"; and GA appear as texts without illustration. I am surprised not to have come across this book in the thirty years since its publication.
