Aesop's Fables
Alternative Title
Abstract
This is a 32 page pamphlet, 6½" x 9½", containing versions of LM and AD. The fables themselves are all in capital letters. The sentences are short and simple. This version is especially graphic for young readers when, in LM, it has two hunters -- apparently European and African -- sit in a tree and gather up the net when the lion steps on it. This version of AD likewise jumps right into its story with the "gray bird" helping the desperate red ant. Here apparently the second phase of the story follows immediately on the first. "It is good to help your friends."
