INTRODUCTION|When Mr. Jacobson's bull jumped the fence into Mr. Fuchser's pasture, it was not, in the annals of bovine history, an act which rivaled that of Mrs. O'Leary's cow or even that of the cow that jumped over the moon. However, the bull's case, Fuchser v. Jacobson, reached the Nebraska Supreme Court, and the court's decision reveals a history of animal trespass law peculiar to Nebraska and other western range states.|The growth and development of ranching and agriculture in Nebraska has dictated the approach Nebraska has taken to animal trespass law.
