Abstract
This album contains Danmark's fables cards pasted well into the appropriate spots. Complete. 32 pages. I find the color work of the cards to be of very high quality. Several copies appear on the web. The album seems to be identical with “Dandy Serie: Dyrefabler,” though the languages there seem to be the Belgian pair rather than the Danish here. Very engaging artistry throughout, with plenty of humor! Aesopic fable material includes at least these: FG; BW; FS; TMCM; DS; WL; "Gardener and Bear"; FK; "Mice in the Cream"; and OF. OF may be among the best work here. Other stories include some 17 other children's stories, some perhaps variants of well-known tales, like "Guldhar and the Three Bears."
