Abstract
INTRODUCTION|It is my privilege to join the many friends of the Creighton Law School in recognizing the twentieth year of publication of the Creighton Law Review. As the reader may be aware, this is also the seventh year in which the Creighton Law Review has published its Eighth Circuit Survey, which contains critiques and analyses of recent, significant Eighth Circuit decisions.|At the time I was appointed to the federal court in 1966 by President Lyndon B. Johnson, I recall visiting with faculty members and students about the need for Creighton to commence a law review publication. In that twenty years, the Creighton Law Review has achieved distinction among the many legal periodicals published by law schools and now enjoys a prevalent reputation as a leading regional law review. This accomplishment has not come easily. It has required dedication and great industry by administration, faculty, and the many students who have participated in the project...
