Here is the simplest of editions, ornamented only with a nice colored picture of "The Heron" on the cover. The verso of the title-page is blank. Then begin fables one after another, not organized into books, through 187. Five pages of T of C follow and the book is done. Paris in 1941 was not looking for ornate books! 4½" x 6¾".
