THE FIGHT FOR EQUALITY
Creighton alumnus Dr. James B. Williams has waged war on discrimination throughout his life, both as a first lieutenant in the Army Air Corps and as a surgeon. In 1945, Williams was one of 101 black officers arrested for standing up against segregation in what became known as the “mutiny at Freeman Field.” Page 12.
