Abstract

For the past several years The Creighton University has been administering a series of examinations to freshmen for the purpose of assigning these students to classes best suited to their individual differences. In the fall of 1939 three tests were given. One was a general psychological examination; while the other two were tests of specifice(sic) abilities, that is English and mathematics. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the test of general intellectual ability will predict college achievement in the subjects concerned as well as a special prognosis test in these fields.
