Abstract

This paperback booklet for younger children features 52 fables on 184 pages. I notice two themes familiar to me. I recognize on 074 a favorite story of mine: mark the place on the boat where the sword fell into the water and sail to shore to find it. On 050, there is the familiar ploy by the fox of walking ahead of the tiger and so getting apparent respect. 5¾” x 8¼”.
