Abstract

This 56-page story is a good political spoof by an accomplished comedian. Like good satire, it makes its points through conscious exaggeration with a lively sense of congruity and incongruity. As the flyleaf reads, "This is the story of a leopard fighting for his life and the lives of all fur-coated species. It is a thrilling chase that starts in Africa, goes to New York City, and finally winds up in Washington, D.C." Actually, it includes one more venue, but I will leave that to the reader. I agree with the flyleaf: the book is "filled with drama, suspense, and humor."
