Christian Spirituality Program: A Bridge to God’s Greater Glory through Spiritual Direction Worldwide

Abstract

Since 1974, The Christian Spirituality Program has offered an experience both academically challenging and spiritually inspiring. The Masters of Arts degree and the Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction and Directed Retreats are a living synthesis of graduate level study, personal prayer, shared faith and a commitment to apostolic work that draws faculty and students from all over the world. The program’s more than 800 graduates attest that Creighton’s Spirituality Program applies to a wide range of ministries. A major focus is preparing people to do spiritual direction and to give individually directed retreats in the contemplative, evocative Ignatian tradition.
