Abstract

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE Born December 2, 1905 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The ambassador's professional and foreign service expirience has been varied indeed. He has been on the faculties of Harvard, Hamilton, and Duke universities, has held posts on Moscow, Berlin, and Tokyo, among others, and has been advisor to the National Security Counsil of the Department of State, and Director of the Foreign Service Institute. His present rank is Career Minister.

SUMMARY Ambassador Morgan in social situations says all the right things at the right time. He competently briefed us on Ivory Coast and its connections to the rest of French west Africa.
