INTRODUCTION|This article is intended primarily for the Nebraska legal community. Because the Nebraska Environmental Protection Act of 1971 [Act] will have far-reaching effects throughout the state, this article will attempt to relieve some of the confusion surrounding the Act, and will serve as a guide for Nebraska attorneys as they enter the field of environmental law. Because of the effect which environmental law has upon aspects of community life, an attorney should know the legal responsibilities of his clients to the environment.
