INTRODUCTION|In Daugherty v. Ashton Feed & Grain Co., Inc. the court held that the noise from the operation of the defendant's grain drying fans constituted a nuisance and enjoined the operation of the fans on weekends and between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. during the week. This is apparently the first time the Nebraska Supreme Court considered whether noise alone created a nuisance.
