Here is the fifty-seventh fascicle. This is the third of the larger fascicles because it contains two of the eight reproduced plates. This fascicle continues the "Préface" (xxxiii-xl). Next up is the beginning of "The Life of Aesop" (xli-xlviii). Inserted at the center of this section are excellent printings of "The Young Widow" and "The Animals Sick from the Plague" facing each other with blank backs on a four-page segment.
