FIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|Professor A. Lee Bloomingdale joined the faculty of the Creighton University School of Law as an Assistant Professor in 1955. He advanced rapidly in academic rank and in 1961 was promoted to the rank of full professor. After sixteen years of service to Creighton, Professor Bloomingdale announced his decision to retire from teaching to devote full time to his professional and business activities on June 1, 1971. Professor Bloomingdale entered the School of Law after his graduation from the Creighton University College of Business Administration with the degree of Bachelor of Science, cum laude. In 1954 he received the degree of Bachelor of Laws, cum laude. The University of Michigan awarded him a Cook Research Fellowship for graduate study and conferred on him the Master of Laws degree in 1955...
