Abstract

This is a copy of a book already in the collection, one of some 38 inexpensive Turkish editions of Aesop bought together. As I wrote there, this book is extremely simple: from 4 to 94 there is a constant stream of fables without illustration. The front cover presents a colored illustration of FS. There is a last page with questions to be answered, including "When did I buy the book?" and "When did I start the book?" and "Which characters do I dislike?" Several changes distinguish this copy from that one. First, the print throughout is now brown. Secondly, the title-page now contains a date, confirming my guess on the first copy of 2007. Thirdly, the verso of the title-page changes the party responsible for printing and binding. Fourthly, the back cover eliminates the websites offered on the earlier copy. Finally, this copy is clean and unmarked, by contrast with the earlier copy's student contributions, particularly the answers to those last questions.
