Abstract

This is a 16-page pamphlet, 7" x 9". The story is new to me, but works well enough as a fable. The lion is sad because he cannot find his tail. A mouse and a monkey look for it in vain. Then a turtle bets that he can find it. He asks the lion to get up. The lion has been sitting on his tail. The last page asks young readers to choose who couldn't and who could find the lion's tail.
