Abstract
One of the eleven stories here is a fable: "Mr Fieldmouse is too proud" (28-29). The "Mr" here is the father of the bride. There is a whole paragraph of moral for this story. If one has something, he should keep it and use it properly. One should be satisfied with his position. Those who exalt themselves shall be humbled. There is a pleasing black-and-white illustration of the bride with either her father or her fiancé. This story was narrated and translated into English by S.A. Makopo.
