Abstract
Here are fifty-four stories, each with a green title in caps. The book is in the same series out of which I have an Aesops Fables from 1968. The line-drawings by Ezra Jack Keats are adequate. Perhaps the best is the only colored illustration, the frontispiece of Br'er Rabbit and the Tarbaby with Br'er Fox looking on from behind a tree. I have to admit that I did not take the occasion this time to read again through these delightful stories.
