Abstract
Here is the twelfth fascicle. Pages 177-192, plus a jacket. This fascicle first finishes the text of "Philomel and Procne," It goes on then to "The Woman Drowned"; "The Weasel Who Got Into a Granary"; "The Cat and the Old Rat," with a full-page illustration that is unusually gruesome even for Doré. Then Book IV begins with "The Lion in Love," including a remarkable group scene. I find this one of Doré's most engaging full-page illustrations.
