Abstract

This magazine offers thirteen fables and uses with them detailed photographs from the base around Krylov's statue in St. Petersburg. The cover shows the statueofhim seated with a book in his hand. The substantial base offers the various animal scenes. Several at the center of the pamphlet use two pages of text along with two different photographs. I recognize FG; OF; LS; FC; The Elephant as Governor; CJ; The Sheep and the Crow; Quartet; The Lion and the Leopard; The Monkey and the Spectacles; WC; Squirrel; and Cock and Cuckoo. Quartet is my favorite among these designs. The monkey is classic!
