Abstract
Here is the fifty-sixth fascicle. This is the second of the larger fascicles because it contains two of the eight reproduced plates. This fascicle continues the "Notice sur Jean de La Fontaine" (xvii-xxii). That segment is followed by "Dédicace" (xxiii-xxviii) and the beginning of "Préface" ((xxix-xxxii). Inserted at the center of this section are excellent printings of "The Animal in the Moon" and "The Lion and the Mosquito" facing each other with blank backs on a four-page segment.
