BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
He joined the African Institute of South Africa as a researcher, and in his position, was involved in various aspects of development assistance and development projects in Lesotho, Swaziland, Southwest Africa, Namibia, and Angola. He has held several offices in the South African government, including Information Attache at the South African Embassy in London, and Counselor of Information at the South African Embassy in Washington, D.C. from 1977 to 1981. Other positions incude head of the South African Foreign Guests and Visitors Department and member of the Department of Foreign Affairs in Pretoria
