Abstract

INTRODUCTION|On March 2, 1978, the Creighton University School of Law conducted the Selected Tax Topics Seminar. The Seminar, presented by the Creighton Continuing Legal Education Corporation, was intended to cover those areas of current significance in the tax area.|In an effort to provide a greater appreciation of these tax areas, the Creighton Law Review presents four articles which grew out of the presentations at the Seminar. The Seminar is not intended as an exhaustive study of these various areas. Rather, it is intended, in the form of a convenient reference tool, to provide the practitioner with a better understanding of these tax topics. In addition, the material includes three articles which were not part of the Seminar, dealing with other tax topics of importance. One article was prepared in connection with the Dean Louis J. Te Poel lecture at the Creighton University School of Law on March 2, 1978...
