Fables de La Fontaine, Première et Seconde Partie
Alternative Title
Abstract
Here is a curious little volume, outwardly in very poor condition. It has an illustration, generally 2½" x 1½", for each fable. These are simple and even primitive in their approach to each fable scene. Some are quite indistinct. A full-page frontispiece is perhaps even more primitive. The very thin paper allows this volume to be quite portable. There is a T of C at the end of each of the two volumes bound together here. Not in Bodemann. This copy as I purchased it had in it a doctor's school excuse from 1943.
