Ezop Masallar
Alternative Title
Abstract
Here is one of some 38 inexpensive Turkish editions of Aesop bought together. There are several things unusual about this book. It is taller and thinner than most paperbacks: 4¼ " x 8¼". Secondly, it happens to be a later edition of a nearly identical printing from 2003. Each of the 200 fables begins a new page. Before the fables begin on 21, there are introductory sections on Aesop and fable. Texts and morals are sometimes altered from their versions in the earlier printing. The front cover still features several rabbits in a basket under the moon.
