Abstract

Originally published in Australia by Nelson Thomson Learning. This is a small (7½ x 6) oblong pamphlet of 16 pages. Zebras, foxes, and monkeys run from the donkey in the lion's skin. These colored illustrations are very lively. Here it is the monkeys who hear the donkey's Hee-haw and deduce that he is no lion. They run after him, and soon so too do the others who had run from this beast. This is a children's reader meant for a specific level--whatever Level 12 is in the PM plus system. Might there be others in this series?
