Abstract
INTRODUCTION|Antitrust law is concerned with the concerted action of independent economic entities. Section of the Sherman Act prohibits a single entity from monopolizing or attempting to monopolize trade. In contrast, section of the Sherman Act does not proscribe restraints of trade as such, but only restraints on contracts, combinations in the forms of trusts or otherwise, and conspiracies in restraints of trade.
