BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Mr. Goshu has recieved various degrees from Yale University and Addis Ababa University. He has held positions such as Minister of Education of Ethiopia; Chairman of the National Literacy Campaign; Chairman of the National Higher Education Council; Chairman of the National Commission for UNESCO.
SUMMARY
He moved his audience when he spoke about the deaths by starvation of hundreds of thousands of persons, thirty percent of which could have been avoided had the government been less rigid and doctrinaire in policy. He declared that any government which cannot feed its people has lost its right to govern.
