Between Two Trees: A Collection of Short Stories. I chose to name my thesis after the first story I wrote when I was still in elementary school. It was a little fantasy story about a doorway, an archway formed by two trees, that lead a girl to a magical land. This story was the spark that ignited my passion for writing and storytelling And in a way, this is my way of thanking that little inspirational nugget, because it brought me to where I am today. My thesis is a collection of short stories, novel excerpts, and poems that I had worked on while in the MFA in Creative Writing Program.
