1940 Float in Homecoming Parade

Abstract

This flatbed truck float with signs saying "Law" and "You're Next!" offers up what appears to be gallows and executioner with a football player waiting to next. This float takes its place in a long line of decorated vehicles along the Omaha business district as part of the 1940 Homecoming parade. Spectators line the sidewalks. The manikins and displays in Herzberg's windows are clearly visible.
