Abstract

FORMATTED DOCUMENTS|As of August 30, 2017 there were 590 theses or dissertations in the CDR that were published after January 1, 2000. Approximately 130 of these are presently under embargo or are otherwise restricted from view. The remaining 460 had been downloaded 133,170 times as of 8/30/17. The average use for these publicly available works is 290 views/downloads per thesis or dissertation.|There have been 678 older works digitized and added to the CDR as of August 30, 2017. The older theses have been downloaded 17,929 times for an average use of 26 pdf views/downloads per work.|Digitization of these older works preserves the value of past student scholarship at Creighton University, makes them available to a broad audience of scholars and other readers, and will allow these works to eventually be moved to remote storage.
