Abstract

Probably never before in the history of American education has the teaching profession suddenly realized the need for publicity--the need for getting public attention* Since the school belongs to the people and is supported by them, it is Inevitable that its welfare and progress should be determined largely by how the people regard it* How they regard it Is determined largely by what they know about it. In the last few years, tremendous changes have taken place In education. Due to the times, the needs and the problems of education have increased. The people have not been adequately Informed on these changes. Thus due to this lack of understanding of the needs of today's schools and the significance of their programs, education has suffered. In America, our schools need both the moral and financial support of their patrons. To obtain this support, people must be Informed on the schools and their work.
