FIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|On the afternoon of May 1, 1980 Linder and Quinn were rummaging through the audio-visual aids in a Midwestern law library in search of certain video tapes when they happened upon a set of audio-only tapes upon which were impressed a series of lengthy conversations between two people known only as "Patton" and "Halliday."
