Abstract
This two-staple pamphlet, about 9½” x 7¾”, offers "Patience, Little Giraffe" on 32 pages. This story involves a little giraffe who gets frustrated when the low-hanging leaves have all been eaten. The first resolution of the story is like CP: mother advises to find a smaller tree. The second resolution is that, when they do find a smaller tree, the mother has to bend down! The full-page illustrations are simple. The little giraffe and some others wear bow ties. This series also includes “Turtles Can Be Fast” in our collection and “Ant Row,” not in our collection. The series title translates "I can be smart."
