Abstract
As a reader fingers the pages of a hook, his mind searches for the definite purpose for which the work was written. One may not always realize that behind this purpose lies a field of influence which prompted the author to write, and which shaped the type of the literature in which he would express himself. Authors gather their ideas from varied experiences. Nature and beauty have always been the ’’inner sanctum" for the poet; the starry heavens and the massive universe, the reservoir for the scientist; the world of travel, the school from which the novelist has learned to study and to write.
