Abstract

FIRST PARAGRAPH(S)|Of the many cases before the Nebraska Supreme Court during the survey period, a large number included evidentiary questions. The court, however, made few changes in Nebraska evidence law.|The questions raised in the two cases reviewed here are not purely evidentiary. In each case, however, the admissibility of evidence presented in a criminal prosecution was questioned by the defendant. In the first case, the court rejected a proposed expansion of the Miranda doctrine that would further limit the admissibility of custodial confessions.
