Abstract
Here is one of some 38 inexpensive Turkish editions of Aesop bought together. This book is extremely simple: from 5 to 126 there is a constant stream of fables without illustration. The T of C on 127-8 shows that there are some 59 fables here. The front cover presents a colored illustration involving a bird, dolphin, lobster, man, and boat. The back cover features some of the other books in the series. This is one of the earliest publications in this group of books.
